Website access & hosting

This website is delivered through Vercel Inc., USA. Accessing it may involve processing technically necessary data, including your IP address, the time and resource requested, browser, device and operating system information, the referrer and an approximate region inferred from your IP address.

This data is processed to provide the website securely, reliably and efficiently, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in operating a secure and reliable website.

Transfers to third countries

Vercel may process data in the USA and other countries. For transfers from the European Economic Area, Vercel cites in particular the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer mechanisms.

Retention period

Technical log data is retained only for as long as necessary for operation, security and troubleshooting, or as required by law. The specific period depends on the hosting settings and contractual requirements in use.

Cookies, fonts, tracking & media

The website itself does not integrate its own analytics or marketing services or set its own tracking cookies. The separate information below applies to the external reservation service. Fonts, images, videos and audio files are delivered alongside the website by the same hosting provider. No fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Optional music

Optional music is loaded from the same hosting provider only when you activate the sound control. Playback and the scroll-responsive audio effect are processed in your browser. Your choice is not saved permanently, and no external streaming service is embedded.

Online table reservations

On our reservation page we use the booking service provided by gastronovi GmbH, Buschhöhe 2, 28357 Bremen, Germany. The embedded booking service loads only after your explicit consent. Gastronovi then receives technical access data, including your IP address and browser and device information.

When you make a reservation, the information you enter is processed, such as your name, contact details, date, time, party size and any optional requests. Required information is marked in the booking form. An online reservation cannot be made without it.

Reservation details are processed to take steps prior to entering into a contract and to fulfil the hospitality contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The recipients are the restaurant operator and the booking service provider. The required retention period depends on processing and fulfilling the reservation, any statutory retention duties, and the establishment or defence of legal claims. Consent to the booking service & usage analytics

The embedded service also includes an analytics script from thirdeye.gastronovi.com and browser storage functions. These are used, among other things, to analyse usage and associate visits. Consent covers loading this external service, including its analytics functions. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for non-essential access to stored information, Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

Consent to the embedded calendar is optional. Alternatively, you can open the booking page directly on gastronovi. Doing so transmits data to gastronovi; the provider’s privacy notice applies to processing there. We keep your consent on our website only in memory for the current page visit, not permanently in your browser. A new page visit requires fresh consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time for the future by selecting “Withdraw consent” below the booking service. The embedded service is then removed. Data already sent, and any data stored in your browser, is not automatically deleted. An existing reservation is not cancelled. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Contact by email or phone

You can contact us by phone or email with general questions. Table reservations are accepted exclusively online through gastronovi.

When you contact us, we process your contact details and the content of your enquiry to respond to it. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to reservation-related enquiries. For other enquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention depends on the time needed to handle the enquiry and any statutory retention duties.

External links

Links to Instagram, Google Maps, Seethaler Studio and external booking or information services open external websites. Data is sent to the respective provider only when you follow such a link. That provider’s privacy information applies to its processing. “Open booking in a new tab” takes you directly to gastronovi’s external booking page, independently of consent to the embedded calendar.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.
